Introducing Austin's newest indie personality, Matt McCloskey. With his debut record, These Times Won't Last, scheduled for release in April, Matt, a Texas native, has returned to Austin to call it home. These Times Won't Last marks his first milestone as songwriter and front man. This record embodies the spirit and feel of rock and roll in a presentation that is both creatively fresh and pleasantly reminiscent. The lyrics and vocal work coalesce to create hooks that give the listener no choice but to start singing along by the return of the chorus. When asked about his motivation for his first album Matt explains, ' I'm just trying to figure out who the hell I am.' This soul searching has resulted in a record that captivates the listener from it's high energy start with the title track, 'These Times Won't Last,' to its playful conclusion, 'Baby, I Need You.'
